Warnings about AI and employment often begin with mass replacement. The sharper change appearing in current labor data is less dramatic but more immediate: companies are reducing the junior work through which people once learned how to become experienced professionals. KPMG has warned that the traditional workforce pyramid may no longer suit organizations adopting AI.
