Nearly a decade after its unveiling, the Tesla Semi is finally heading to Europe. The electric lorry is due to arrive in 2027 with a revised design, immense power and two range options intended to cover everything from regional distribution to long-distance haulage. The headline specification belongs to the Standard Range version: 800kW from three independent motors, equivalent to roughly 1,073bhp, with an estimated 325 miles between charges in its US configuration. A Long Range model stretches that figure to 500 miles, placing the Semi among the longest-legged battery-powered heavy trucks announced for regular production.
