Physical AI is often illustrated by a humanoid robot walking through a factory. Apple’s entry is taking a more domestic form: a home operating system, a shared display, cameras, sensors and an assistant capable of turning what it perceives into actions across a room. The foundation is homeOS, an unannounced platform associated with the internal codename Pebble. Software references connect it to two home hubs, J490 and J491, while reports describe tabletop and wall-mounted versions built around a small display. A more ambitious tabletop robot, J595, is being developed as a later step. The sequence is important.
