After nearly three years of previews, winter testing and camouflaged prototypes, the first fully electric Range Rover is ready to order. It arrives with 542 horsepower, up to 333 miles of estimated EPA range and a US starting price of $138,000. The surprising part is how little of that transformation can be seen from outside. There is no sharp-edged reinvention, glowing light bar or attempt to make the electric model resemble a spacecraft. Its upright body, floating roof, split tailgate and restrained surfaces remain almost indistinguishable from the petrol and plug-in hybrid versions. That resemblance is intentional. …
