Netflix has spent nearly two decades building one of entertainment’s most recognizable closed environments: open the app, choose something from its catalog and remain inside its interface until the credits roll. Executives are now considering a significant change by allowing other streaming services through that front door. Recent discussions involved NBCUniversal’s Peacock and Fox Corporation’s Fox One, according to The New York Times.
