Grand Theft Auto VI gave Netflix an unusual role this week: for six hours, the streaming service became the exclusive place to see Rockstar Games’ most substantial official look yet at one of the entertainment industry’s most anticipated releases. Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look debuted on Netflix at 3 p.m. ET on August 27 before becoming available at 9 p.m. ET that evening through Rockstar’s YouTube channel and website.
