Apple’s most revealing product document of the year was not a presentation, regulatory filing or supplier report. It was a routine software update. The release candidate for macOS Tahoe 26.7 arrived in developers’ hands carrying references to more than a dozen unannounced devices, along with an internal video demonstrating camera-equipped AirPods. The discovery covered almost every major hardware family: future iPhones, OLED Macs and iPads, home products, headphones, a headset and an updated remote. Some entries were only short identifiers buried in code. Others included feature flags, error messages and assets that gave the codenames a clearer purpose.
