The iPhone may be next in line for a price increase after Macs, iPads and several home products became markedly more expensive in June. Apple is preparing higher prices as memory and chip costs continue to rise, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, although the company has not settled the final figures publicly. A $100 increase is emerging as the most plausible adjustment. Applied to the next Pro model, it would lift the starting price from the current $1,099 to $1,199, an increase of roughly 9%.
