Volleyball is a game of errors, as lovers of the sport will tell you. Unlike many popular games, where players earn points by steering a ball into a basket or goal, a central aim of volleyball is to mess up less than the other team. But hardly any bloopers are on display at the Synergy volleyball club’s home gym in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The 30-odd teenage girls at play are the picture of strength and grace, their sets, spikes and dives working to keep the ball aloft.
