Foxconn has reported a 35% increase in second- quarter profit, surpassing market forecasts as demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure reshapes the Taiwanese manufacturer’s business. The result strengthens its position as one of the major industrial beneficiaries of the global race to build larger and more powerful data centers. Best known for assembling consumer electronics, Foxconn has spent years expanding into servers, networking equipment and other enterprise products.
