Meta’s AI glasses have become the subject of a criminal complaint in Germany, where digital rights group HateAid argues that their recording capabilities violate national privacy rules. The complaint targets Meta and other companies involved in selling the devices, with particular attention paid to the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer. The glasses resemble ordinary eyewear but contain cameras, microphones, speakers and an AI assistant.
