这篇讲什么
该研究基于TwinsUK队列,对335名女性进行了长达8年的纵向多组学分析,揭示了基因表达和代谢物水平随年龄变化的分子轨迹及其个体差异性。

Julia S. El-Sayed Moustafa†, Anna Ramisch†, et al. BACKGROUND: Aging is a dynamic and highly heterogeneous process shaped by the interplay of endogenous molecular and physiological processes, genetic background, environmental exposures, and disease-mediated change. Multiomic profiling offers the opportunity to capture these processes at molecular resolution and, when combined with deep clinical phenotyping, may inform precision medicine approaches aimed at identifying early molecular signatures of disease, patient subgrouping, and targeted therapeutic interventions. However, realizing this potential requires a robust understanding of how molecular phenotypes change over time within individuals, so that healthy aging trajectories can be distinguished from those signaling pathology. RATIONALE: Most human omic studies remain cross-sectional, despite growing evidence that transcriptomic and metabolomic states are temporally dynamic. …
