She divides her time between abstract painting, collage, and an unexpected practice she stumbled into during the 2020 pandemic and wildfires: weaving tapestries onto foraged branches and wishbones. Formally trained in textile design and handweaving, Kaci spent years away from her art before finding her way back through small, daily experiments. Now she teaches her branch weaving technique online and in person—and will lead her first five-day intensive in the summer of 2027.
