As longer, hotter summers become the norm, there are things you can do to help your body better adapt to high temperatures, but only up to a point, discovers Alice Klein DURING recent video calls with my UK colleagues, I have noticed a common theme. Their cheeks are pink, damp hairs stick to their brows and they sigh a lot. The unprecedentedly hot summer in Europe is taking its toll. “How do you cope, living in Australia?” they ask glumly.
