Or you had a blank space to fill, or you were stuck in a traffic jam, or you had a moment of reflection in the waiting room? It’s time to feel the boredom. More often, we’re increasing our mental stimulation with constant noise, but there’s no external stimulus to focus on, only our own thoughts. When there’s nothing to occupy your mind, a calm happens.
