这篇讲什么
本文探讨了物理学中对称性原理的局限性,并提出量子纠缠的最小化可能是宇宙更深层的法则。
原文开头
The principle of symmetry has long guided physicists towards fundamental truths, but a stranger idea from quantum theory could be a deeper driving force, finds Jon Cartwright I N THE Altes Museum in Berlin stands a boy with his arms raised to the heavens. Aside from the right heel, which is slightly arched, this ancient Greek statue, known as The Praying Boy, is almost perfectly symmetrical. Did the sculptor impose this balance for purely artistic reasons? Hermann Weyl thought not. We are drawn to symmetry, said the German mathematician, because it governs the very order of the universe.
