“KISSING THE LAMPPOST was a good one,” says Kirk Jones, director and writer of I Swear. He and his lead actor, Robert Aramayo, are discussing how the film’s subject, Scottish Tourette syndrome activist John Davidson, was constantly changing things up. I Swear had been in the works since late 2022, and they'd both got to know him well, but even as the shoot loomed in the summer of 2024, there was more to learn.
