At least, that’s how Joe Russo, co-director of Avengers: Doomsday, describes the unique approach to marketing the film to Empire. “These trailers are narrative information,” he adds, “it’s all part of a larger story. So I would argue that Doomsday has already started for you.” Blimey. Joe — along with his brother and fellow director, Anthony — is speaking in the wake of four different Doomsday trailers that debuted weekly in front of Avatar: Fire And Ash in cinemas.
