really loved doing the shootout at the train station. My inspiration for it was John Woo: being such a big fan of his movies, wanted to make it like a John Woo sequence, where it's a crazy shootout, everything flying in the air. no white doves, but otherwise, the kitchen sink. Then the run down the corridor and the jump out the window, having learned from Cliffhanger and previous things, I knew that it had to be done right — it had to feel real, or at least real in the world of Long Kiss Goodnight, where some pretty outrageous things happen, but not superhero stuff, not crazy outrageous.
