One week before Christmas, Brian Walshe, 50, stood in a Norfolk County Superior Courtroom in Dedham, Massachusetts, waiting to hear the sentence that would define the rest of his life. Almost three years had passed since his wife Ana vanished from their home in Cohasset after New Year’s Eve celebrations in 2022. Walshe showed no emotion when the judge sentenced him to life in prison without the possibility of parole, convicted of murdering and dismembering the woman he had married and with whom he shared three young sons.
