Samsung Display is expected to become the sole supplier of OLED touch panels for the next generation of high-end MacBooks, placing one company at the center of the notebook’s most substantial screen change in years. The panels are intended for redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch models that could arrive in late 2026 or early 2027. The exclusive arrangement reflects the difficulty of producing laptop-sized OLED panels to demanding standards at scale.
