Artist ELIZABETH BARLOW lives and works in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. In her ongoing series Flora Portraits, she uses flowers as potent symbols that reawaken us to the power of beauty and presence. With the support of her daily meditation practice, her painting is a transformative act that allows her to slow down, look deeply, and develop a deep reverence for all living things. In 2023, her paintings were featured in the two-person exhibition Flora Fauna at the Monterey Museum of Art. Her commissioned 8-foot painting, Transfiguration, will be installed in All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Carmel in July 2026. …
