The Lexus ES has spent more than three decades building a reputation around quiet luxury, comfort, and reliability. For 2026, the formula changes dramatically. The eighth-generation ES arrives with a completely redesigned platform, larger dimensions, a more technology-focused cabin, and, for the first time, fully electric powertrains alongside traditional hybrid models. Rather than abandoning hybrid technology, Lexus is giving customers a choice. Buyers can select the familiar ES 350h hybrid or move into the all-electric ES 350e or performance-oriented ES 500e.
