Jeff Bezos has pressed Prime Video executives to place artificial intelligence at the center of a major redesign, turning the streaming service into a prominent showcase for Amazon’s growing investment in the technology. The project, known internally as Lighthouse, is expected to reshape the home screen with stronger personalization, conversational voice requests and recommendations assembled around individual viewing habits. More than 200 million people use Prime Video, giving the company a vast audience for AI features that can be understood without technical explanation. Versions of the redesign are already being tested with a limited group, although its final appearance has not been settled.
