A Journey from Social Work to Sacred Mothering by Rosy Radford My life until recently was centred around “assessments,” “outcomes,” and “intervention.” As a Statutory Child Protection Social Worker and later an Early Help Keyworker for the local council, my days were spent working with families in need of support. I was trained to observe the attachment between parent and child, to measure the bond from an outside perspective. I genuinely thought I knew everything there was to know about childhood.
