Hyundai Motor America extended its momentum in the U.S. market with another record-setting February, delivering 65,677 vehicles — a 6% increase year over year — marking its third consecutive month of all-time monthly sales highs. While several automakers have reported cooling demand for electric vehicles following the expiration of the $7,500 federal tax credit last fall, Hyundai moved in the opposite direction, led by a sharp rebound in IONIQ 5 sales. The IONIQ 5 rose 33% compared with February of last year, reaching 3,329 units sold during the month. Through the first two months of 2026, the model has delivered 5,365 units, up 14% year to date. …
