Alex Karp has sharpened his attack on the companies building the most advanced artificial intelligence models. The Palantir chief executive says frontier laboratories behave as though they “deserve to colonize your enterprise,” a phrase aimed at their growing influence over corporate data, software and decision-making. His criticism is larger than a dispute over model quality. Karp argues that companies risk handing proprietary knowledge to outside AI providers while paying for tokens that may produce little measurable return. He portrays an arrangement in which laboratories learn how an enterprise works, then expand into the applications and industries built on that knowledge.
