CarPlay is leaving the highway for the helm. Crest Marine and Balise Pontoons will install the familiar iPhone interface in selected 2027 boats, pairing it with marine charts and route planning designed specifically for lakes, rivers and coastal waters. The arrangement marks the first factory installation to combine CarPlay and Android Auto with Savvy Navvy’s on-water navigation. Unlike a marine stereo that merely offers music controls, the system places charts, position data, destinations and voyage information on the boat’s central display. All new Balise models will include the technology as standard, along with the 2027 Crest Conquest and Caribbean ranges.
