In 2025, the average annual premium reached $2,320, according to the credit monitoring bureau Experian. That price tag reflects a 26 percent combined increase between 2023 and 2024, based on data from the Insurance Information Institute (III). The indus- try group says that the higher prices are due to several factors, including elevated repair and replacement costs, increased litigation, and larger jury awards.
