A meat and dairy allergy caused by tick bites is on the rise, while widespread diseases like Lyme are becoming even more common. Protecting yourself is more important than ever. IMAGINE YOU WAKE up in the middle of the night, hours after eating a burger or an ice cream cone, or taking a prescription drug. Suddenly you’re vomiting, feeling nauseous, or covered in hives. You might even be wheezing or feel your throat closing up. These can all be signs of a tick-borne ailment known as alpha-gal syndrome.
