To get all those benefits, our experts say to choose 100 percent cotton (like the Tens, Glamburg, and Ikea towels here) over cotton-synthetic blends, which can be rougher. The type of cotton matters, too. Egyptian, Turkish, and Supima cottons tend to be softer, more durable, and more absorbent than others.
