Feeling negative Would it be possible to have anti-black holes, and how could we tell if we were looking at one? A black hole formed by the death of a star composed of antimatter would behave the same way as if its parent star had been matter. The antimatter would have as much gravity as the equivalent amount of matter. Hence, we would see no difference and it is possible that anti-black holes exist. Today in industrialised societies, modern technology has mitigated the need for many of these survival-based observations, leaving an evolved sense of aesthetics so that we can be free to admire beauty per se. …
