BY REBECCA ROBERTS, PhD I t was the afternoon of April 24, 2018, when Sacramento police made the mon- umental arrest of 72-year-old Joseph DeAngelo, widely known as the Golden State Killer. DeAngelo was a notorious burglar, rapist, and serial murderer who had eluded them for decades.
