Colin Angle is making another attempt to bring robotics into everyday homes, this time with an AI-powered companion designed to behave more like a pet than a machine. Unveiled at Future of Everything conference, the prototype—called Familiar—uses generative AI to respond to speech, learn behavior over time, and interact with users in a way that feels more organic than previous consumer robots.
