OpenAI is reportedly exploring smartphone chips with Qualcomm and MediaTek, but the project remains unconfirmed and appears to be at a very early stage. The current report is based on claims from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, later echoed by Reuters, not on an official announcement from OpenAI, Qualcomm, or MediaTek.
