Fraud now arrives through text messages, social media ads, fake delivery alerts, online marketplaces, dating apps, job listings, payment platforms, and even AI-generated voices that can imitate familiar people. The scale of the problem reflects how digital communication has changed. Every phone number, inbox, and social profile can become a target, while scammers use automation and artificial intelligence to reach more people with increasingly convincing messages.
