Clock it Intel’s overclocking stance is a lighthouse in the storm. Good news in the gaming hardware market has been as rare lately as a credible political figure or a human-authored Facebook post, but we’ve been shown the thinnest sliver of light among the gloom by, of all people, Intel. The chip giant’s enthusiast channel VP and GM Robert Hallock has been making bold statements that people are taking notice of in 2026, and, unusually for a senior figure at a technology company, those statements don’t boil down to, “Actually, AI is good for you but you’re simply too stupid to realise it.” All hail our new GabeN, Rob ‘The Overclock’ Hallock.
