There have been five other Olympians in his family, including his mother, Barbara Ann, who took gold at the Sapporo Games in 1972. The 33-year-old from Starksboro, Vermont, is continuing that legacy now in his third Winter Olympics (with one silver medal at 2022’s Beijing Games).
